According to Yonkers Deputy Fire Chief Thomas Fitzpatrick, the incident took place around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday as the woman was leaving the adjacent bank parking lot.
There were no injuries, and the Kimball Avenue restaurant is still expected to be able to open in time for its busy Mother's Day.
Fitzpatrick said it took several hours to shore up the building, inside and out.
The incident was the second time in a week a Westchester driver drove into a restaurant. A Yonkers woman drove into a Mamaroneck restaurant on Sunday, injuring nine people, four of them critically. She was charged with drunk driving.
